Karnataka IT Enabled Service, known as "KITES" is an Community representative body of IT and ITES Industries for Entrepreneurs, firms, pvt ltd companies. KITES Started with a group of committed young and Experienced (Expert) Professionals joined forces and conceived the idea of an organization that can act as a catalyst for the promotion and growth for IT and ITES Industries in Karnataka. It was thus that, KITES (KARNATAKA IT ENABLED SERVICE) came into being In Agust . However, KITES with the roles and objectives of Community further widened to suit the needs of changing socio-economic environment in IT and ITES Industry.

"KITES" who are into to Support creating an environment conducive to industrial growth in the region, disseminating valuable information on legal & technical aspects, latest development in industry & market,about latest Government policies, procedure and laws etc. apart from solving the teething problems on the following Industries.

The Areas identified to focus are IT ,ITES,BPO & Related Industries on their Implementation and enforcement, alternative Dispute Resolution(arbitration, conciliation, mediation and negotiations).

KITES will provide a forum members of legal, financial, banking, administrative, technical and Concomitant professions in South India to Interact , Co-operate and share their Experiences with all the members..
